Sugbo博物馆原址为前宿务省拘留与康复中心（Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center，简称CPDRC）。建于1869年，设计建造者为宿雾当时唯一的艺术家——多明戈(Domingo de Escondrillas)，于2004年改为博物馆。其建筑风格类似于城堡，门口两座古老的炮台横立，斑驳的城门及锈迹彰显着这座建筑的年龄。 现在内部集合了 The Pre-Colonial Gallery、The Spanish Colonial Gallery、The Katipunan Revolution and the American Colonial Gallery、The War Memorial Gallery、 Gregorio and Jovito Abellana Special Exhibition Vicente Rama Special Exhibition、The National Museum Gallery、 Cebu Journalism and Journalist Gallery七座博物馆。
